Missions at Trinity Heights
Jesus gives us the Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Likewise, in Acts 1:8, He tells his disciples, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” God’s mission has a church here at Trinity Heights Baptist Church and we take the words of our Savior seriously. Our Missions Ministry focuses on three ways to be involved: Praying, Giving, and Going.
Pray
Join us as we pray for unengaged and unreached people groups all over the world. You can pick up a copy of our specific people groups and missionaries associated with these works in the worship lobby. Each people group and the missionaries involved are depending on our intercession daily. Will you join us in praying for them?
Give
Financial support of missions takes place year around at Trinity Heights. Every December we have a special focus on Global Missions Manger Offering. We divide the offering by percentage between Local, Louisiana, North America and World missions causes. We encourage year around giving to this global effort and have periodic prayer/giving focuses on Annie Armstrong (North America/March), and Georgia Barnett (Louisiana/September) and (World/December) offerings.

Mobilization gives money and prayer hands and feet! We are engaged in both local and global efforts which has been referred to by Bob Roberts as “glocal” missions!
Local
Shreveport/Bossier is poised for a movement of God. Caddo and Bossier parishes are home to nearly 375,000 people speaking more than twenty languages. We have an open door to share Christ as a gateway city. Reaching people for Christ in Shreveport/Bossier opens the door for those we win to train them to share with those they know, wherever they go. Therefore, we are committed to mobilizing Trinity Heights to be on mission where we live, work, shop and play. Our involvement includes:

We are increasing our footprint around the globe with Unengaged, Unreached People Groups. God has called us to the nations both within and outside of our continental borders. Join us as we engage the nations and introduce them to the Real God. Some of our current investments include:
